New stop of Prisma’s Roadshow: the cooking suite takes centre stage in Malaysia
Following the milestone of its 40th anniversary – marked by significant recognitions – Prisma continues its path of international expansion with a roadshow aimed at strengthening its presence in some of the most dynamic markets in the hospitality sector.
After its debut last November in China, Shanghai, the second stop of the roadshow reached the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, a strategic hub for commercial development in the ASEAN area. Here, Prisma’s management team had the opportunity to meet with designers, retailers and professional catering operators.
The star of the event was the Prisma cooking suite, designed by Franco Driusso and featured in the prestigious ADI Index – Compasso D’Oro selection for its outstanding technical and design values. This is a solid, hygienic and uniquely designed all-in-one cooking unit. The unit showcased during this Roadshow integrates features from both Western and Eastern cuisine, including a gas burner for wok and a dim sum steamer.
‘Southeast Asia represents a market with significant growth potential for us, characterised by specific operational and cultural requirements that call for a targeted technical and production approach. The stop in Kuala Lumpur allowed us to present Prisma and its potential, while also establishing strategic synergies with local stakeholders. Our goal is to strengthen our presence on the market by virtue of our solutions, that offer high performance, customisation and compatibility with customers’ needs’ says Paola Ongaro, head of Prisma.
