Prisma, among the top 100 companies in the Opitergium area, lands in the Far East
China and Malaysia are the stops of this year’s roadshow
In 2024 Prisma obtained the ‘Best Performer in the Opitergium Area’ award, being included in the prestigious ranking of the 100 top companies in the Veneto district, cradle and hotbed of important entrepreneurial realities. Sealing the inclusion in the selection was the entrepreneurial – managerial and productive – excellence of Prisma, which has specialised for over forty years in the design and production of stainless steel and customised catering equipment: a group capable of lavishing value on the territory to which it belongs, as well as entering foreign markets, thus spreading the district’s image beyond its borders.
As an ideal continuation of this important award, Prisma has inaugurated its first roadshow in the Far East, to meet professionals, retailers and to expand its internationalisation. The first stop was in China, Shanghai, and this will be followed by Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the next months. Prisma’s top management is present at the events, to talk to selected operators in the sector and to introduce them to the company’s know-how and production capacity. At each meeting, indeed, the stainless steel all-in-one cooking unit designed by Franco Driusso and featured in the prestigious ADI Index – Compasso D’Oro selection for its outstanding technical and design values, is shown. Complete with gas burners for wok and dim sum, the system meets the specific cooking and preparation requirements typical of Asian cuisine.
‘Our company’s customisation capability and flexibility in production procedures allow us to incorporate and turn diverse functional and design aspects into projects’ comments Paola Ongaro, second generation at the hem of Prisma, who continues: ‘Leveraging this know-how, we wanted to design an all-in-one cooking unit with equipment based on the needs of the Asian market, an area of growing focus in our export strategy. This year will also see the completion of the expansion works at our company headquarters, significantly increasing our production capacity and enabling us to respond even more effectively and promptly to the rising demands of both domestic and international markets’.
