Mattia Pastori, Italy’s best Bartender at Prisma Cocktail Station
Bar Manager at Mandarin Oriental Milan from 2014 to 2016 and now entrepreneur for Nonsolococktails company, the multi-award-winning Mattia Pastori has frequently crossed paths with Prisma throughout his career. Since his experience at the renowned 5-star luxury hotel, Mattia has used Prisma’s cocktail stations for the preparation of drinks that earned him the title ‘Best Italian Bartender 2016’. The connection with ‘the son of the bar’ – as he enjoys calling himself, even using this phrase as the title of his book – has continued over the years, among the stage of Identità Golose and various events where he had the chance to experiment the innovative Prisma Cocktail Station designed by Franco Driusso.
‘The Cocktail Station is equipped with all the tools a good bartender needs: a shaker rinser, a drain board, a functional sink, an ice bin, and garnish rails’ he explains in the video available here. He also highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of every Prisma solution, including the high-resistance single-piece countertop specifically designed to ensure maximum hygiene.
The systems designed for the Restaurant & Hospitality sector are indeed manufactured at Prisma’s production facility in the province of Treviso, using only AISI 304 stainless steel and tailored to meet the needs of an international clientele. They are fully equipped to streamline professionals’ work. In the case of the Cocktail Station, it offers a freestanding workstation, easy to move thanks to its castors and ready to use with just a power socket.
The collaboration between Prisma and Mattia Pastori will soon take an important new step at the headquarters of the bartender and his company Nonsolococktails, in the province of Pavia – further strengthening a partnership that has lasted for ten years.
